Anonymous editing

When you edit without an account, the PDF, your changes and any signatures or images you add stay in your browser's local storage (IndexedDB). They are not uploaded to our servers or to any third party. They are removed 24 hours after you last opened the document, when you open a new file, or when you press “Delete now”.

Accounts

If you create an account, we store your email address, display name and profile picture (if you sign in with Google) with Firebase Authentication. Documents you upload while signed in — the original PDF, your edits (an edit log), version snapshots, thumbnails and saved signatures — are stored in your private area of Firebase Cloud Storage and Cloud Firestore (Google Cloud). Access rules allow only your account to read or write them.

Deleting a document moves it to your trash; after 30 days, or when you delete it forever, its files are removed.

Analytics and error reporting

We do not load analytics or error reporting until you accept the consent banner. When accepted, we use Vercel Analytics (anonymous web vitals, no cookies) and Sentry (error reports without personal data). You can change your choice at any time from the cookie policy page.

Waitlist

If you join the Pro waitlist we store your email address for the single purpose of telling you when Pro launches. Write to us to be removed.

Your rights

You can export your documents at any time, delete them from your dashboard, and delete your account by writing to us. We answer access and deletion requests within 30 days.
