How it works
Three steps
Drop the PDF. Every page appears as a thumbnail in the pages view.
Drag a page to its new place. Duplicate or rotate along the way if you need to.
Export. Page order in the file matches what you see on screen.
What stays intact
- Reordering copies pages, it never re-renders them — text, fonts and images are identical.
- Duplicated pages share their source content, so the file does not double in size.
- The move is one undo step, so trying an order costs nothing.
- Text edits, signatures and watermarks all follow their page to the new position.
What it will not do
- Printed page numbers are part of the page content, so they travel with the page — edit them with the text tool if they should change.
- Reordering does not renumber the outline; entries follow their pages.
- Pages from another file cannot be inserted here — merge the files first, then reorder.

Can I move several pages together?
Select them first (⌘-click, or ⇧-click for a run) and drag the selection.
Does the page numbering in the document update?
